Burlington Free Press: "Feds flag Bernie Sanders campaign contributions"

The Burlington Free Press reports that the FEC on Thursday issued a second letter to the Sanders Campaign regarding improper and/or excess contributions. This follows closely a similar letter sent to the campaign committee on February 11.

The February 11 letter had 37 pages of improper contributions and expenditures, the February 25 letter has 90 pages.

The article and full letter is here:

millions in paid speaking fees, no problem. The more you try to dirty Bernie, the worst your candidate looks.

2. Speaking fees earned by private citizens aren't subject to FEC regulations.

Many of the individual contributions exceed the $2700 limit, and many, many more of the aggregate contributions exceed the limit of $2700.

Look at the letter attached to the BFP article to see how many.

will support Hillary instead. I am just explaining why this (the contributions thing) is, in the great scheme of things, pointless twaddle.

8. Yes, it would be pointless twaddle except that Sanders has based the bulk of his campaign...

...on campaign finances. True?

If I were going around the country preaching about a "corrupt campaign finance system" (not saying his is, though), wouldn't you think he would make sure his campaign finances were in perfect order first?

Again, none of this outweighs Hillary's PNAC, Third Way corporatism.
