http://m.ajc.com/news/news/national-govt-politics/georgia-state-students-bounced-clinton-rally-over-/nqYrd/I was on my phone and when I looked up Ashona was gone, Mwanda said. She wasnt loud. She wasnt chanting. I just looked up and she was gone. A few moments later, someone came for me.
The students said staffers and men with green military-type uniforms and bullet proof vests took the students in the hall and, according to both of them, told them that their signs and messages were inappropriate and that they would have to leave.
Elizabeth Espy of the APD said the students were escorted out by plain clothes officers. She said the men in uniform were members of the Atlanta Proactive Enforcement Interdiction (APEX) Unit.
I wasnt being violent or disruptive, Husbands said. I am an undecided voter. Hillary Clinton says that black lives matter, but when she speaks about the black community, she kind of glosses over it. I wanted her to see the sign and look at me. I wanted her to say something to win me over. The ironic thing is that the staffer gave me the sign in the first place. If they hadnt given it to us, I would not have written it down.

Apparently, holding up a BLM sign at a Hillary rally while black now constitutes a "violent crime pattern."

BLM is perfectly justified in being sceptical of any and all candidates. If the reaction to questioning the user of dog whistle racist language is to treat you as a threat, then I'm guessing the message being sent is not one that will earn that reselect.

(65,456 posts)and Bernie's (and O'Malley's) even to those that are aggressively disruptive is astonishing, and doesn't do her any favors. I think of the automatic removal of quiet individuals from Trump's rallies, even though they were just sitting there and holding a sign.

(15,480 posts)You see, silent protest while being black, made these students threats. A prescient look at what a Clinton inaugural parade would be like - no damned signs allowed along the parade route! When she wants someone black to speak, she'll tell them. Freedom of speech has much greater limits when in the presence of Hillary. (It's in a little known footnote to the Bill of Rights!)

(15,882 posts)That just juices the little brownshirts up.
And you sure can't let these people get away with it. That would be worse, I think.

(3,017 posts)We can figure that out at some point, but first Hillary's people had to bring them to heel.
