Have Americans just gotten bored with the Presidential Campaign?

The media is portraying the elections now as the Exciting Steel Cage Death Match of the GOP, with Trump as the certain victor and back to Business as Usual Clinton as already having vanquished the Insurgent Reformer on the Democratic side.

"Now that we've had our little moment of excitement, it's back to normal. It's Hillary''s for the taking, just has to sweep up the board," they say.

And maybe they -- and their collaborators in the Democratic Party -- will make it so.

And if so, are people just reaching a point where they just don't give a damn because it's a choice between a rancid dictator (Trump) or a bland same old same old technocrat who will change nothing (Clinton)?

"Honey, why don't we switch from that boring news channel and watch Real Housewives of Oshkosh?"

Dunno. Too bad the Democrats are managing to tamp down hope and following the old playbook. "Changes? We don't need no stinking changes!"
