Ashley Williams is getting attention criticizing HRC for statements re crime and punishment. I wonder if she will criticize the people who have for decades been proud to call themselves "tough on crime"... the Republican party's prospective candidates.

Now, if she spoke up in a Trump gathering demanding an apology from Trump for his very "tough" position on crime "The perpetrator is never a victim. Hes nothing more than a predator."__ D. tRump - THEN I'd be impressed.
It's too easy to be the brave crusader when inveighing against the imperfections of those who already agree with you. If you want to show how brave an activist you are, go take on the real opponents of your position. Then I'll be impressed.[/font]

Hillary Clinton's position on Criminal Justice System reform
Our criminal justice system is out of balance.
Criminal justice reform
Hillary will:
End the era of mass incarceration, reform mandatory minimum sentences, and end private prisons.
Encourage the use of smart strategieslike police body camerasand end racial profiling to rebuild trust between law enforcement and communities.
Help formerly incarcerated individuals successfully re-enter society.
I will never stop working on issues of equality and opportunity, race, and justice. That is a promise. Ive done it my entire adult life. I will always be in your corner.

(145 posts)Furthermore, Trump isn't trying to court the "monolithic" black vote like Hillary is right now. Trump isn't using black bodies as props at town halls like Hillary did recently. Trump didn't shill for legislation that destroyed millions of black lives like Hillary did in the past.
Also, do you think confronting Trump at one of his rallies is the safest of ideas for a young black woman? Or is there some part of you that actually wants to see her assaulted?
