Clinton and refugee children

When asked in April of 2014 by Christiane Amanpour about whether children fleeing violence in parts of Central America should be allowed to stay, Clinton responded and the exchange proceeded as follows:

CLINTON: Well, two quick points. One, the numbers are increasing dramatically. And the main reason I believe why that's happening is that the violence in certain of those Central American countries is increasing dramatically. And there is not sufficient law enforcement or will on the part of the governments of those countries to try to deal with this exponential increase in violence, drug trafficking, the drug cartels, and many children are fleeing from that violence.

AMANPOUR: Should they be able to stay here? It's safer.

CLINTON: Well -- it may be safer but that's not the answer.

Clinton was right: the children would have been safer here. In August of 2014 between five and ten were reported to be dead:

Between five and ten migrant children have been killed since February after the United States deported them back to Honduras, a morgue director told the Los Angeles Times.

O'Malley rightly called Clinton out on her inhumanity towards refugee children. And then she "evolved."

'Gov. Martin O'Malley came under fire Wednesday for advocating for thousands of children
entering the U.S. illegally while simultaneously trying to wave the White House off a potential shelter in Westminster, Md.

CNN and others reported that O'Malley spoke Friday with White House adviser Cecilia Muñoz and requested that the administration reconsider its assessment of a former Army Reserve Center in Carroll County. A White House official confirmed the conversation to The Sun but declined to comment on the nature of the call.

Late last week, at a meeting of the National Governors Association in Nashville, O'Malley urged compassion for the children and argued that they receive due process before being deported. The comments came as the Obama administration is seeking to alter legal protections for the children in order to expedite their removal.'

suggests that she has a blind spot when it comes to the death of innocent bystanders.

I will never forget the sight of children in cages after she precipitated the coup in Honduras ... and what happened to the children that were sent back? They died.

It was horrifying but it is a pattern like in Haiti and in Libya ... there is no evolution just obscurantism
