Right?
She was a Democrat before her teens were even over.
Unlike Elizabeth Warren, who was a Republican into her 40s and Bernie Sanders who has been a 'Democrat' for about five minutes, and will not say if he will remain one.

(20,234 posts)And yet she was still volunteering for a republican and attended their convention at age 20.
"She might have been the only 20-year-old in America who worked on the antiwar presidential campaign of Senator Eugene McCarthy in New Hampshire that winter and for the hawkish Republican congressman Melvin Laird in Washington that summer."
She got an early start on the weather vane. I'll give her that.

I think this is a disqualifying act for any candidate, what do you think?

And Bernie is always on the right side of the issues.
It's all on videos.
You think it's just some kind of "luck" that she is always wrong?

Probably will end up voting for Bernie here in Texas though- He is the only one that has a chance at beating trump.

(94,598 posts)Elizabeth Warren, a favorite of the left, admitted that she was once a Republican.
In an interview with The Daily Beast released on Tuesday, Warren, 62, who recently began a bid to unseat Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) admitted that up into her early 40s she was a Republican.
"I was a Republican because I thought that those were the people who best supported markets. I think that is not true anymore," Warren said. "I was a Republican at a time when I felt like there was a problem that the markets were under a lot more strain. It worried me whether or not the government played too activist a role."

(37,428 posts)Clinton's onetime love for mean, stupid Goldwaterism should be considered in context with her conversion to liberalism and, eventually, neoliberalism.
But rather than dwelling on particular phases of her career, our takeaway from the OP ought to focus on the consistent activism of her opponent on behalf of the victims of conservatism.

And if you always seem to be on the wrong side of issues, until the political winds change and then you "evolve". . that says something else about your character.

(4,762 posts)In 1964 my first presidential vote was for Barry Goldwater. My parents and family were Eisenhower Republicans. I have not voted for a Republican for president since and I have not missed an election. At the moment I am on the fence but leaning a little towards voting for Bernie in the primary but will support Hillary if she wins the nomination. I would be more pro-Bernie if someone could convince me he is not politically in a general election another George McGovern. Been there, done that and don't want to go through it again.
I consider myself fairly far left and I feel this post is old and tired, silly and counter productive.

(36,827 posts)The victim in the 1975 sexual abuse case that became Clintons first criminal defense case as a 27-year-old lawyer has only spoken to the media once since her attack, a contested, short interaction with a reporter in 2008, during Clintons last presidential campaign run. Now 52, she wants to speak out after hearing Clinton talk about her case on newly discovered audio recordings from the 1980s, unearthed by the Washington Free Beacon and made public this week.
In a long, emotional interview with The Daily Beast, she accused Clinton of intentionally lying about her in court documents, going to extraordinary lengths to discredit evidence of the rape, and later callously acknowledging and laughing about her attackers guilt on the recordings.
Hillary Clinton took me through Hell, the victim said. The Daily Beast agreed to withhold her name out of concern for her privacy as a victim of sexual assault.
