But the bill that President Clinton signed is not welfare reform. It does not promote work effectively, and it will hurt millions of poor children by the time it is fully implemented. What’s more, it bars hundreds of thousands of legal immigrants—including many who have worked in the United States for decades and paid a considerable amount in Social Security and income taxes—from receiving disability and old-age assistance and food stamps, and reduces food-stamp assistance for millions of children in working families.

he was not running for president, I could be wrong though. Or are you using the logical fallacy of guilt by association?

from what Sanders said that she is not a republican she obviously holds more than enough to not be a republican. Sanders holds values that quite a few mainstream republicans do also that mainstream democrats don't, gun control for one. I don't think his stance on that is bad but there it is.

just not the best candidate

I'm not voting for him but I never use loaded adjectives to describe him

Wish all Democrats did the same

It was something. I noticed the "what do you think of this commercial" thing resulted in Bernie seeing that stupid commercial about "single issue", which backfired on Hillary, if you ask me....

But, when it was Hillary's turn to see a commercial... Well, darn, they couldn't seem to find one that was negative against her from Bernie, so they ran the Colbert thing, which was some kind of moment everyone should see!
