Santorum Responds To Foster Friess Birth Control Comment: I’m Not Responsible For Bad Jokes

Rick Santorum responded to supporter Foster Freiss’s controversial birth control comments, telling BuzzFeed’s Rosie Gray, “I’m not responsible for every bad joke one of my supporters makes.”

Earlier Thursday, Freiss had told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell that “Back in my days they used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives…The gals put it between their knees and it wasn’t that costly.”

Whether it was Samantha Power or Reverend Wright, anytime somebody said something stupid, Obama was immediately held responsible and forced to reject, denounce and disassociate himself from the offensive speaker.

“You know, (reporters) sit there and they say nothing, while for 20 years (President Obama) sits in a church with a guy who is a racist,” Santorum says. “And somehow or another Foster Friess is now who I am? This is just crap.”

Here's what I love. This was his quote to National Review Online. I ask: Where the hell was he back in 2008, when the press was freakin' OBSESSED with Rev. Wright? I love how they always claim the "liberal" media ignores all the Obama "scandals." My god, 2008 was INSANE with the fake outrage. Rev. Wright! Bitter gun/god people! Michelle's Whitey tape! Lipstick on a pig!

I get so freakin' sick of the GOPers playing like they're being victimized by the mean old press. Just shut the hell up, Rick. Enough already.
