Donald Trump Declares That, Should He Win, He Will Prosecute Hillary Clinton Because “She Seems Guilty”

The Fox News-sponsored controversy over Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server will become another anti-Clinton national tragedy if Donald Trump wins, the Republican front-runner told Fox News’ Sean Hannity at a town hall Monday night.

Hannity asked if Trump would order his attorney general to investigate Clinton if he wins the White House in November, and Trump said he would “have no choice,” because “in fairness, you have to look into that — she seems guilty.”

He momentarily tried to walk his comment back, saying, “but you know what, I wouldn’t even say that,” before saying what he just said he wouldn’t say again. “But certainly, it has to be looked at,” he said. Trump later added that “she’s being protected, but if I win, certainly it’s something we’re going to look at.”

Moreover, he argued, “if a Republican wins, if I’m winning, certainly you will look at that as being fair to anyone else. [It is] so unfair to the people that have been prosecuted over the years for doing much less than she did.”

Obviously you don't understand the difference between the executive branch and the judicial. He won't be prosecuting anyone. He can ASK the AG to so do, but no AG of any competence would touch that request with a twenty foot pole.

Does the phrase "Impeach the Cox Sacker" mean anything to you? Nixon tried to pull that shit too--it's WRONG.

Who then could easily get an indictment from a Federal Grand Jury. It wouldn't be hard based on the information we know at this point. A conviction though, who knows.

It's not that idiotic of a concept and would be easily within his Administration's power. If she and her aides committed felonies I have no problem with them being indicted and prosecuted.

It's apparent that he means his Administration's DOJ would prosecute her, which would be realistic. I doubt he meant that he himself would personally prosecute her in court, it would be a great reality show though, the ratings would be HHHUUUUGGGEEE!

race-baiting Obama, red-baiting Sanders, nothing is off limits but when you get a taste of your own medicine all the sudden you cry foul. cry me a river.

and I wouldn't be surprised if she was guilty. Hillary will do anything and say anything to get what she wants people like that have no morals no boundaries and are usually guilty of their crimes, to no one's surprise.

But I post this theory again mainly so y'all can jeer me if I'm wrong. Hell, Dubya managed to pretend to work for eight years, but I just can't see Trump tying himself to a DC address for more than about a week.

Since the GOP has not won the White House without a Bush or Nixon on the ticket since 1928, JEB seems like the most likely choice.

Plus, be brings all that SuperPac money with him.

I don't think Trump's ego will allow him to quit. He will just delegate his authority so he can have more leisure time.

There will be record turnout for Republicans(which we're seeing in the primaries), Trump will take advantage of the anti-Clinton sentiment and harp on this issue and how she's owned by Wall Street all the way up until election.

She can't win.

His claims that she is "being protected" will raise enough doubt to make her un-electable.

We shouldn't be trying to nominate someone who is under investigation. If we do, then we deserve a President Trump and all his Supreme Court nominees.
