2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumPolitical Spam E-mails
I'm getting 75-150 political e-mails a day from everyone. Luckily, they go to an account set-up for these type of e-mails. I'm wondering what % of e-mails you read....I'm in for 5%, the rest get deleted right away.

(22,000 posts)I've started deleting a lot of them. Sometimes I get added to another list (usually I'm careful about what I sign up for) and unsubscribe from it. I feel bad I can't donate more.
In addition to Obama and the Democrats, there are many individuals running that need help that I'd like to donate to as well. This morning I got an email from the Obama campaign with the last amount I donated on October 1st (I missed the September deadline by a few minutes).

(3 posts)As a result, the Can-Spam Act covers only e-mail promoting "a commercial product or service," which lets political spammers off the hook.
