Double down; flip flop; etch a sketch; walked back
I am so tired of hearing these phrases. Only people in the know understand their meaning; I would much rather have them discussed in plain english.
So words I don't want to hear Obama say: Double down; flip flop; etch a sketch; walked back or snake oil salesman
Instead, Obama could do a air-demonstration of etch a sketch during one of his answers, to visually demonstrate Romney said this, and then (turning air knobs) campaign would come out and say no, really he meant this. That Romney would say something and then erase it days, hours, moments later and say he didn't say it/say the opposite.
I wish Obama would really dwell on the 47% comments. Made in private, speaking to millionaires, seemed very comfortable - not manic or blustery. Explain that when given the opportunity to explain or clarify the 47%, Romney choose to stick by his comments. Only weeks later, Romney then said he was wrong or sorry or whatever...
Words I would like to hear Obama say:
Trust, consistency, reliability, empathy, candor
I want Obama to tell more stories but in particular, tell the story of the waiter from his anniversary dinner with Michele. Very powerful.
Say that Romney could debate himself
Say that Romney is like a closer, the supervisor of the car salesman who comes over to negotiate the price after you say you want the car but are worried about the cost. He is willing to say anything to close the deal.
I'd like to hear Obama talk about maniac, bob and weaving positions
