She embodies the true schema of traditional marriage; her marriage to Willard hearkens back to when daughters were traded like commodities as a means of consolidating familial wealth. 7. I was just saying to hubby last night after I saw/read queenie's remark about

Pres. Obama being a poor sport, how she has something snarky to say every couple of days. Whereas Michelle doesn't say squat about them (that I have seen anyway) FLOTUS comes out and does her stump speech (remarkably well IMO) and that's it. Ann doesn't do stump speeches (that I've heard) just fox interviews and snark. I wonder why people like Mrs. O better?

While Ann Romney is fake. I am shocked her favorability is so high. I'm going on the record that she will be running the country, not Mitt. She herself has said that Mitt can't do well without her. She has raised six boys not five. She is snarky, condescending, and feels she is above all else.

I still say it's a mormon thing, and being rich only makes her snootier.

as an ex-mormon, i can tell you that mormons believe they are entitled to a greater
place in heaven than non-mormons. infact, mormons believe that only mormons
are allowed to live with their families in heaven because all families who wish to
be together in heaven MUST be "sealed" in a mormon temple. obviously, one has
to be a mormon to go to a mormon temple for a ceremony. also, not just any
mormon can participate in temple ceremonies. only members "in good standing"
are allowed in. "good standing" means you don't question mormon leaders
and you pay your money to their "church" regularly via tithing (basically, it's
a 10% tax to get into mormon heaven).

anyway, ann knows that most of the people she encounters everyday outside her family
is not going to mormon heaven and therefore, not really "worthy" of her respect.
