2016 Postmortem

I think this is the same result as yesterday.
"Eight percent (8%) of Republicans and unaffiliated voters currently are undecided or plan to vote for some other candidate. Only two percent (2%) of Democrats are uncommitted to one of the major party candidates."
The above seems like a strange way to phrase it. What percentage of Republicans are uncommitted to either major party? What percentage of Indies? Why are they lumped together, with Dems singled out?
It suggests they are trying to bury something....

(1,828 posts)Probably they just wanted to make it look as dire as possible for Dems, and if it's 3 percent R and 5 percent indies to 2 percent D, it doesn't look as scary as "ONLY 2 PERCENT DEMS ARE LEFT! PANIC AGAIN SOME MORE!"

(1,828 posts)Remember how he only gave O a nice lead immediately before the debate, as predicted? He's just reverting. But after days and days of "ALL IS LOST!" posts and media obsessing, this is fabulous. If Ras can scrape up only a 1 point lead for Mitt after his best days ever, my spirits are rising rapidly!

(26,044 posts)...that Gallup was the only tracker showing an Obama counter-bounce -- that, with the others, it appeared that Romney's debate bounce, which faded on Sunday, was right back again on Monday (and, apparently, Tuesday), as strong as ever.

(4,551 posts)Shouldn't Obama be getting a bounce from the good Jobs Numbers?
That needs to be a MAJOR STORY every day from Team Obama.
Btw, Obama is at 49% Approval in Rasmussen. Doesn't that indicate the underlying support should be fairly good?
