How did Obama win more delegates than Clinton in 2008 with the same exact results as Sanders?

2008 Overall

5407 Clinton
4805 Obama
398 Sanders

Clinton won 52.95%of the county delegates between Clinton & Obama's total delegates won.

2016 Overall (94% reporting)

6184 Clinton
5540 Sanders

Clinton won 52.75% of the county delegates between Clinton & Sanders' total delegates won.

Check out the county maps:

2008

2016

The only county differences between Clinton vs. Obama in 2008 & Clinton vs. Sanders in 2016 are:

Sanders crushed Clinton in Lander county 70%-29%, while Clinton won 43% to 38% over Obama in 2008.

Sanders won Lyon County 52% to 48% while Clinton won Lyon County 47% to 42% in 2008.

Obama won Storey and Churchill County while Sanders strangely exactly tied Clinton in those counties.

Clinton beat Sanders 54% to 46% in Douglas County, while Obama beat Clinton there in 2008 by 50% to 43%.

Clinton won White Pines County 47 delegates to 46 county delegates in 2016 while Obama won White Pines County 31 to 28 county delegates in 2008.

What accounts for the huge swing in overall state delegates to Clinton this time around when Obama won them in 2008?

Which was when the lines in '08 were drawn. Obama benefitted from obsolete districting some in '08
