The audience can ruin Rmoney next week.

The next presidential debate, on 10/16, will be town hall style with audience members asking questions. If anyone asks Romney about why he hasn't released more taxes and why he said he gets no tax breaks for his overseas accounts, that could be the beginning of the end for him.

It would also be great if a Veteran asked him why he protested FOR the Vietnam war but then didn't serve. Obama doesn't even have to say anything. Just let Rmoney squirm. His lies HAVE to be called out, and this will be a great time to do it.

before hand?

If not, Pres. Obama has a distinct advantage. Romney can't "think on his feet", imo.

Will they be allowed to ask questions at a microphone? Or will their questions be submitted and read aloud by the moderator?

He'll probably just weasel his way out of any question, he probably has been preparing for every potential issue in debate camp.

9. But the audiences are always made up of so-called Independents

so all we can hope is that they are actual, thinking people.

14. Not independents, unfortunately, but undecideds

And the undecideds this late in the game are generally people who haven't been paying attention and have no clear opinions of their own. Not exactly the bunch you'd pick to ask thoughtful, finely-tuned questions.
