(34,661 posts)what I saw today was the enthusiasm and the sheer numbers that showed up on a 70 + degree day, doing their duty. Remember,Nevada has been a right leaning state and it appears the tide has turned towards the left.

(11,945 posts)Now she's lucky to barely squeak by against one of the most principled candidates we've ever known, a candidate without her immense wealth, name recognition, and establishment endorsements.
She's learning that integrity is hard to beat and impossible to fake.

I am not blocked.
But that is because I don't post there. I barely read there as I see only 4 posters due largely to my ignore list. This is kind of like the site that will watch Fox News so we don't have to. I like it when someone will jump in and sift through and bring a nugget out.
They aren't linking and making fun, just taking some talking points and allowing further discussion.

(34,648 posts)Here comes SC
He will do much worse there
His momentum is really going
Attention will be on the fact that he could not beat her
And the fact that her easier states and his hardest states are coming up
It only gets harder for him from here

(2,565 posts)Super tuesday is looking to be another tie with all states tightening.
The end is near for the Clinton Empire.

(34,648 posts)Im sure she wins even if its by one point. She already has the superdelegate edge. He needs triumphant wins. She needs to tread water.

Nothing like admitting you think things are fine as they are. Well, okay, if that's your view.
How can anyone think that things are ok they way they are?

(278 posts)"Our" people are fighting tooth and nail against each other and many on both sides have been hit so hard by the other, no one will be able to heal by the time the GE rolls around.
And Trump is gathering the Pubs and Indies as we fight among ourselves
You are so correct, how does anyone think things are "OK"?? This is terrible.

(222 posts)Superdelegates means SHIT right now... They aren't even valid votes until June when they vote with the pledged delegates.
SusanCalvin
(6,592 posts)seeing as how nobody voted for them. If Bernie does win the delegates awarded by vote/caucus and they don't flip, I give up on the system.
bravenak
(34,648 posts)His numbers were terrible with black voters. We goin down south now. It will be brutal. Until colorado, vermont, maine... She will run the table else where and have the delegates way before the convention

http://www.snopes.com/sanders-english-only-huerta/ (FALSE)
I'm pleased, in a sad kind of way, to report that this is the top Google news result.
I can understand that maybe Huerta misheard in the heat of the moment (for instance, since "neutral" starts with an "n" sound, I can see how she might have assumed it continued to the word "no" , and would like to give her the benefit of the doubt, for sure.
However, I have not yet been able to Google anything about an apology, walkback, or even statement from her. If I have missed it, I would appreciate being directed to it.
I haven't read all my open tabs yet, so I don't know what is being said here. I don't like piling on, of course, but from what I see so far it looks like the facts are not with her.

(12,471 posts)Have been historically known to change their minds. Remember that Superdelegates are not committed to any candidate. They are free to vote for whomever they choose.

(67,782 posts)....with two of Sanders three strongest states having already voted, the pledged delegate count is now 50-50, and as some pundits are already saying, there is "no path to the nomination" now.
A 22% win in a tiny state got Sanders only 6 more delegates than Clinton, but Clinton got 2 more than him in Iowa and 4 more than him in Nevada.
He has seen his last lead.

(6,232 posts)Bernie's ideas and proposals are very important for the country. His ideas will/have enlightened people to what we need and what is possible. This is how you bring the country along. His ideas will only grow in support. Hillary has been greatly affected by Bernie & it's a very good thing.

So now that we know they aren't above putting their thumb on the scale, what we have to do is have a much bigger turnout everywhere from now. A big turnout is the only way you beat dirty tricks.
It's funny Republicans are always lambasted by Democrats for voting against their interests or being dumb because they vote for politicians who do not have their interests at heart. But I have to say at this point at least Republicans have finally realized that the leaders of the Republican party, the elite of the party, are not to be trusted and therefore should not be voted for.
In contrast to Democrats who always think we are smarter, more informed, and more superior to Republicans voters. However, Dems still have not realized what the Reps have realized this election season. And that is the Democratic party leaders, the party elites, do not have our interests at heart. They have been lying to us for the past 20 years. And here are the Dems voting for and rooting for Hillary Clinton, the elite of the elite in the Democratic party. After all the evidence of Hillary lying to us. After making herself super rich by selling herself to rich bankers, and corporations. Dems are still going to elect her as the nominee.
If Jeb Bush was in our party the Dems would be lining up to support him. At least the Republicans have finally seen through the charade and will no longer vote for the republican establishment candidate. The question is when will Democrats realize the same thing?

We can't do that. This is too important.
I don't understand why they are so into supporting Wall Street, the health insurance industry and the private prison industry; fracking; TPP... what kind of Democrats are these who continue to desire this sort of country where the corporations control the govt?
The thing that is dying is democracy itself and Hillary supporters are working to put the nail in its coffin.
