Just left caucusing in Las Vegas. Here are results for my precinct:

Three precincts caucused in a high school cafeteria on the northwest side of Las Vegas.

63 votes for Clinton

22 for Sanders

2 undecided

African Americans for Clinton — 15

African Americans for Sanders — 2

The 3 precincts are in a single family home community with very few apartments.

I've never seen a caucus "in the flesh", so to speak. Curious as to how wacky they get.

If you're not in the door by then your out of luck.

Then you have to stand in a long line to either sign in if already registered or to register, in my case, 45 minutes, then you get assigned to your precinct room where viability is determined for the candidates — at least 15% of the vote.

Then the votes are tallied for each candidate, delegates assigned according to the percentage of the votes received, delegates and alternates selected for the county convention, and that's it.

It took me from 11am to 1:30pm.

I'm not a fan of caucuses. With the primary we had in 2012 because we had an incumbent, I was in and out of the primary in 15 minutes at the most. Now we still have to have a primary for all the down ticket races, and of course the general election in November.

Which is why I've been annoyed by the AA bashing here. Stockholm syndrome thread comes to mind.
