Quick question: Why aren't the dates for NV and SC aligned for both parties?

Why do Republicans go in SC and Democrats go in NV and then visa versa? Why not hold them on the same day?

I don't know...it just seems like a big waste of resources to hold two separate events in each state for each party.

This way, you don't need to find twice as many locations to caucus/primary.
