Change has come
(2,372 posts)Turn out was huge in Carson City. Many people registered at the door so the caucus didn't start until after 1:00. Several precincts didn't have temporary caucus chairmen so it took even longer to get that sorted out. The caucus itself was pretty much a cluster with people getting angry at the delays and the fact the uncommitted voters were surrounded by the Clinton supporters instead of being located in a neutral part of the room. Finally one of the uncommitted voters took charge and asking for timed responses from supporters of both candidates. This calmed things down. Final count was 50 votes for Clinton, 51 votes for Sanders (!) and two remained uncommitted. Sanders won 5 delegates. Clinton won 4.
I don't think anybody wants to have another caucus! lol
One Bernie supporter had to leave when she found out her daughter had gone into labor.
