2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumVP Joe Biden regrets his vote to repeal Glass-Steagall.
Joe Biden in a recent interview:
"There are half a dozen votes I regret, out of about 18,000. One of them is the repeal of Glass-Steagall. It was part of a big package. But it was wrong."

In October, Joe Biden advocated free tuition:
"I believe we have to level the playing field for the American people," Biden said. "And that's going to take access to education and opportunity to work."
"We need to commit to 16 years of free public education for all our children," he said, adding two years to the president's previous proposal of free community college for all.
"We all know that 12 years of public education is not enough," Biden continued. "As a nation, let's make the same commitment to a college education today that we made to a high school education a hundred years ago."
I'm guessing that Biden is privately for Bernie Sanders.

(18,133 posts)1. it's a lot easier to tell the truth when you don't need anyone anymore
good for Joe.
Bernie has never needed anyone but the voters b/c he has always stood for what's good, not what big money contributors wanted from him

(2,125 posts)3. I doubt it. He was responsible for the nightmare
bankruptcy bill that protected record-making profits and sold decent, hard-working Americans up the river. I hope that hangs around his greedy neck for the rest of his life. He's another unelectable corporatist.
