As a woman of color, please go back to ignoring me!

Can SC vote already so the majority of you can go back to ignoring us POC?

I don’t owe anyone an explanation of who I’m going to vote for or why?

I don’t need you to explain to me why x candidate is better for me than y.

I can read and I can make informed decisions for myself.

I don’t think Sanders is the next coming of MLK and I don’t think that Clinton is responsible for every bad thing that has happened to people of color (aka as POC).

I’m capable of nuanced thinking and able to weigh the candidates pros/cons for myself.

I don’t need diary after diary asking about pandering and candidate x said so and so.

I’m aware that x black person endorsed x candidate. That is nice. Good for them.

We don’t all think alike, we have different opinions and you know what that is fine.

I really don’t fucking care. You don’t own my vote.

Anyone of one particular group demanding that certain other groups explain why the support one candidate ... against their own interests, I might add ... when another candidate is clearly the better chance and has been since, forever!

and it is theirs alone. This nails it. I try very hard to stay out of these issues because of exactly what you just said. It has to feel offensive because it is.

Your vote is your own and however you get to your choice is your own path.

to the point when anyone felt like they needed to apologize for their vote? The entire country is just one big awful mess.

It is possible to disagree and not be disagreeable. It is also possible to allow others their own story. We fail at both of those things.

This sounds like a person fully engaged in the political process, and I don't doubt her when she says she doesn't need any assistance in choosing a candidate. I guess I'm just not seeing where the disagreement is here.

Why do black people vote against their own interests...
John Lewis is a shell of himself. He's given up on civil rights because he votes for Hillary....

There is ALLOT of whitesplaining on this site and Dailykos.

That at least in my opinion is where it comes from.

people should not have to apologize or be shamed into or out of a vote. This may be a surprise to some but African-Americans are not a monolithic block.

No one should be shamed into or out of a vote. People are free to vote for whomever they want to vote for.

It's not "whitesplainin."

It's an age-old question/argument made by people who support a candidate, party, ideology about people who don't see things their way, when they believe a positions/candidate is in their interest.

Same things the Democrats have been wondering about white conservatives forever.

"Why do working class Republicans vote against their own interests?"

No different when Sanders supports raise the same argument about AAs or anyone.
