It reminds me of the "All In The Family" episode where Archie gets stuck in his basement on a cold winter day, gets drunk, thinks he's dead, and is rescued by this large black man who hears him through the grates. He looks up at him, thinking he's dead and seeing God, and says "the Jefferson were right."

My idea of God's voice is either Morgan Freeman or Bob Shepard. (Former Yankees PA announcer.)

The fact that her and Bill eschewed high price legal careers for public service doesn't get enough notice.

She made $203,172 in 1992, which adjusted for inflation is about $350,000.

FREEMAN: You're going to relegate my history to a month?

WALLACE: Come on.

FREEMAN: What do you do with yours? Which month is White History Month? Come on, tell me.

WALLACE: I'm Jewish.

FREEMAN: OK. Which month is Jewish History Month?

WALLACE: There isn't one.

FREEMAN: Why not? Do you want one?

WALLACE: No, no.

FREEMAN: I don't either. I don't want a Black History Month. Black history is American history.

WALLACE: How are we going to get rid of racism until ...?

FREEMAN: Stop talking about it. I'm going to stop calling you a white man. And I'm going to ask you to stop calling me a black man. I know you as Mike Wallace. You know me as Morgan Freeman. You're not going to say, "I know this white guy named Mike Wallace." Hear what I'm saying?

WALLACE: Black History Month, you find ...

FREEMAN: Ridiculous.

WALLACE: Why?

FREEMAN: You're going to relegate my history to a month?

WALLACE: Come on.

etc. I said what he said, I didn't offer his rationale. I and a great many others view Black History Month as helpful in building visibility, teaching and promoting research. He thinks it's overly simplistic so would do away with it. He used the word "ridiculous" -- so, whatever about that.

...and he's entitled to his opinion. It's not denigrating of blacks, it's an appeal for normalcy and comity.

And posting only part of the exchange is dishonest.

In reality, she worked at the Rose Law Firm, whose clients included Walmart and Tyson Foods. She made $203,172 in 1992, which adjusted for inflation is about $350,000.

Hillary Clinton also put profits first from 2013-2015, receiving corporate speaking fees. She made $3 million from a dozen speeches to financial companies.

as celebrity beekeeper.

Were he to poll his socialist bees, he might find them more aligned with that candidate whose best ads are voiced, if at all, by the candidate himself.

I must admit, this is a good, positive ad.
