HRC needs to tell us how anything progressive can happen while we stay in the hopeless Mideast wars.

In the Sixties, people backing every progressive cause eventually realized they had to start working against U.S. involvement in Vietnam as well...not only because the war was immoral, unjust, imperialist and unwinnable, but because it was using up most of the resources needed to achieve any form of progressive social and economic gains at all.

The permanent war economy has never stopped using up all those resources.

HRC, with her fixation on "force projection" and demonstrating "toughness&quot whatever that even means anymore)has an obligation to show us how she can deliver even the tiny increments of change she proposes WITHOUT pulling back on the pointless, apparently unendable military interventions she is committed to continuing if elected.

LBJ's downfall already showed us that we can't afford "guns AND butter". Why does HRC refuse to learn the lesson?
