I dont understand

One thing I don't get. Right now Obama's odds of winning the election are hovering around 80% and when some of the people here see that they think "oh god, we're doomed!". I dont get it, where is that reaction coming from? Would you rather be in the position of the people at the free republic looking at their candidate's numbers right now? Obama has a 22% chance of winning in a few week. Does that sound like fun?

78% with just a few weeks left and the sky is falling. What is up with this place?

Republicans wants us to panic, and so far we've fallen for it. I say we need to remain cool and confident, and all shall be fine.

We remember all too well the stolen election of 2000. We can't forget the polling going into 2004 that had John Kerry as our next President. We all remember the election of 2002 where Democrats were screwed. We can't forget the election of 2010 where Rethugs stole the House.

We have been burned so often it's not even funny. Like that jackass stealing Ted Kennedy's seat. Teddy is probably spinning in his grave, and I'll bet you can feel a tremor near JFK's grave at Arlington.

So we are wary, and unwilling to fall for false good news. We'll relax, and celebrate, when we've actually won.

Both of those elections should have gone the other way, in my opinion. That they did not makes me want a blowout for Obama that cannot be tampered with.

I think our nervousness and anxiety has been well earned.

Overconfidence is DANGEROUS.

We have Republican operatives caught on FILM committing electoral fraud.

(Which btw, should be a MAJOR story. If more people knew the Republicans were committing theft, Romney's numbers would come down).
