(19,537 posts)Now perhaps if she said "union leaders" endorsed her, there might be a bit more of those that fit her statement, since they've been more "bought" that union memberships.
And of course she doesn't mention how in many cases that the union memberships of those who's leader endorsed her without consulting them have rejected that she was endorsed in their name.

(244 posts)If you look into the details of her existing endorsements from unions you will see that the executives of these unions (who serve other boards) have ties to Clintons. And the endorsement wasnt done via asking their many union members to vote...nope..it was just executives on the board going with their buddy that gives them tax cuts and favors.
You can bet if they had a real vote the people for these unions would be smart enough to vote Bernie.

(6,409 posts)"You always do that!" really means, "You do that often enough to make me notice." If something is unusual, we call it "unique," or the one that makes me cringe, "very unique." I always order the same thing. I always drive too fast. I'm late for work all the time. Not to be taken literally.

(19,326 posts)would have been TRUE, but no she had to LIE, which is precisely the reason
for her consistently extremely low "trustworthy" numbers.

(22,308 posts)I'm not sure if any of them are for Hillary. My Search for Nurses+Union+Endorses+Hillary+Clinton just turns up results for endorsements for Bernie.
One point that was lost along with that long line for Bernie in Michigan on Monday was that the woman introducing him was a nurse who announced yet another Nurses Union endorsing Bernie. This one Unanimously.

Nurse leaders unanimously endorse Sanders plans to create Medicare for All address income inequality, and restore our democracy
The Michigan Nurses Association (MNA), which represents more than 11,000 Registered Nurses, is proud to endorse Sen. Bernie Sanders for president of the United States. University of Michigan Health System Registered Nurse Katie Scott announced the MNA endorsement as part of the Sanders rally in Ypsilanti on Monday.
Nurses and Bernie agree that health care is a human right, and he is the only candidate who has made a commitment to Medicare for All, said Scott. Facing a life-threatening illness or injury is scary enough. In America, no one should be terrified of facing bankruptcy because they get sick.
Sanders is also a sponsor of federal legislation to establish minimum nurse to patient ratios in all hospitals, which illustrates his commitment to patient safety over hospital profits.
"I am humbled and grateful for the support of the Michigan Nurses Association. Nurses are the backbone of our health care system and on the front lines of the fight to provide quality health care to all people. With MNA's support and the support of hundreds of thousands of union members across the country, we are building a political revolution that will transform American politics, said Sanders.
