Do people really vote based on those endorsements? It probably has been studied by some political scientist...

(751 posts)I doubt anyone who is on political blog is going to be influenced by who someone else endorses. Typically its low info voter who doesn't pay attention to policy or politics, but at the same time feels sense of duty in voting, so they look to others in terms of who to vote for.
Majority of these voters are 65+. This is why the overwhelming endorsements have not hurt Bernie. His message is really geared towards those who have stake in the future of this country and are open to revolution vs the status quo.

(50,414 posts)But, considering the high esteem in which most politicians are held and their notoriety for honesty, I'd say that their impact is minimal. Particularly, among people who do think for themselves.
