Biden must bloody up Lyin' Ryan on Thursday night...

and then a week from tomorrow Obama had better come in with his head in the game. It's a tragedy that the candidate who lied his way thru a debate is the big winner, but Obama brought part of this on himself by not calling out the lies. It's going to be tougher next week because it's a 'town hall' debate with supposedly undecided voters asking questions and my guess is that most of them will have a GOP bent. But the President is going to have to be agressive in pointing out Romney's 'misstatements' and down-right lies while still being respectful to the audience.

Bottom line is if we have a repeat of last Wed night we might kiss the presidency behind. This is why debates are tough for incumbents. Some voters are looking for a reason to vote for the challenger. If the challenger comes across as better than expected they are willing to give them another look. Romney dominated the debate and Obama allowed him to do so. This can't be the case next week.

Joe Biden, desperate to save his boss, barely restrained himself from literally pummeling Ryan on the set, often approaching him in a menacing manner.

Several times Biden came close to flat out lying as he POUNCED on Ryan's "inconsistencies" and missteps ...
