Weather the Storm through Friday; Fight for Every Vote for 30 Days
The GOPers got a bit of a foothold, and they know this is their only chance. They are throwing everything against Dem enthusiasm right now, this week, now.
We have ground game. We will get our people out. We raised more money in September than ever before, a story that has mysteriously dropped off the media radar. How much did Romney raise? How much does he have left?
We will fight for every vote. We will knock on every door. We will get every voter to the polls. Tens of thousands on the ground, every day. You think a few wacky polls will change that?
Keep it together, people. We knew they would push everything until October. We knew they would put this narrative up. This is their last desperate charge. Just work your section and make your calls and get your people out as if it's your only job. You have real election tasks. Perform them. Don't play their game with them. They'll throw everything but the kitchen sink at us now:
It's Supreme Court justices
It's Roe v. Wade
It's women's rights
It's economic justice and the Bush tax cuts
It's the entire New Deal program, SS Medicare, all of it.
That's what they want to take away. And what they want to give us and our children is endless wars in the Middle East, general conflagration, disaster. That's the Romney program.
Do your job. 49%, 52%, 45%, 47%. It's all sideshow. Fight where the fight actually is: locally and on the ground.
