Programming disconnect, poll reporting. "Obama/Romney are now tied! " Post debate effect cited. Yet,

Pre debate reporting, with Obama up ~ 5 points in a number of polls - Obama/Romney are "virtually tied! ". Margin of error cited.

These guys should be making pretzels - they're good at really twisting things to come up with the same result.

No offense to pretzel makers everywhere, it's your craft to twist up a great tasting product. That's called a skill.

Journalists, though, shouldn't be twisting stories to make up a good story. That's called a sham.
