This Rmoney speech is more like an acceptance/SOTU speech than

a speech on his stands on foreign policy and what he would do. It ios easy to say I would increase sanctions on Iran and open up more trade channels, but is more difficult to say if he would send troops to Syria and when he will bomb Iran.

It's obvious what they are trying to do.

And since foreign policy is Obama's strength, it's time to take this opportunity to smash Mitt.

As predicted on DU last night, Mitt just flat out LIED and said Obama has not signed any free trade agreements while in office, even though Obama did so in October 2011.

Ben La Bolt is also questioning why someone who previously said Russia was our #1 foe is now pretending to be so focused on Al Qaeda.

Reading from a script isn't that difficult, and it is sad seeing the media prop him up.

My point is that this is the final stretch now and they are going to try to pull out all the stops to make Romney look Presidential.

Romney needs to be hit hard on his foreign policy speech so that he doesn't change the subject from the good Jobs Report to his lies about Obama's foreign policy record.

is one step away from further involvement such as sending in our troops. It is also folly because we aren't sure who the rebels are, these weapons from past experience either wind up in the hands of terrorists or the rebels turn into therrorists themselves and the conflict escalates to the point of our having to get involved militarily. No surprise that Romney's war hawk advisers mostly hail from the GWB administration. Bad ideas all the way around.
