New Obama TV Ads Take A Page Out Of the Rove Playbook...And It Works!

The latest ads go directly after Romney's "victory" in the debate and paint him as a liar who can't be trusted, in a debate or in the WH.

It's really kinda brilliant, not to mention satisfying to see Rove's tactics used against Romney so effectively.

Interesting.

They have no problem with lying - as long as someone gets away with it it's okay.

But the final part has some truth to it - I think many of us wish Obama had called out Romney more aggressively at the time. That's why I've posted the 1994 Ted Kennedy and recommend the Ted style of putting Mitt down.

But Mitt does tell so many lies (and has more planned for tomorrow) that it's probably exhausting trying to keep up with all of them.

The only such ads I've seen are on ZyouTube. Effective in and of themselves but, if they get no television coverage, they'll have little impact. If the campaign actually has such TV ads, I'd be happy to see them.

it was a bit shorter. It ended with a line about not being able to trust him on the podium or in the Oval Office (with a shot of each).

...playing on televisions NOWHERE.

Look, don't get me wrong. It's very effective, for what it is. Unfortunately, it's also very invisible. The only people who are going to see this are the diehard Obama supporters who go to YouTube, probably because they've been directed there by other diehard Obama supporters. Is it going to reach any undecided voters or "soft" Obama supporters who have been convinced to "give Mitt Romney a second look" because they were impressed by him in the debate? No! To do that, it has to be airing on broadcast television in swing states, where impressionable voters might run across it while watching their favorite programs.

In short, if the Obama campaign is serious about deflating Romney's debate win, get ads like this on over-the-air television where they can reach those whose votes might decide the election. Putting them only on YouTube makes them nothing but political masturbation fodder for Obama junkies.

work already are going to vote for Obama anyway. They are all liberal talking heads from MSNBC, quotes from Democratic leaning publications. Even the AARP has been discredited to the average low information voter that watches Faux news.

ads don't matter anymore. People are more concerned about football and other stuff. Yet..when they believed Romney had tons of money they were talking about how the 30 second ads could destroy Obama. Oooookay... Oh and all they could talk about is the debate performance. When they managed to talk about the employment numbers Joe kept saying how much he loves Welch. Then he said he would bet anything that by December the employment numbers would miraculously be adjusted so that the unemployment is over 8%.

Come on guys.. Look I love MSNBC as much as the rest, but it's the same as if Romney ran a similar ad with Obama and used Fox News as his verification. Where are the video clips of Romney saying the opposite of what he said in the debate? Why are you using Ezra Klein? I bet most people don't know who the fuck he is and are asking "they're using this kid as their proof Romney lied?"

What the fuck Chicago? You guys want to win this or what?

What is this notion they have that swing voters don't want Obama to gut Romney but yet they think swing voters are ok with Romney gutting Obama? This is the timid shit that drives me insane.

Obama kept HIS voters.

that is all that is needed.

All he has to do in reality is win the states he needs by one vote each.

He can lose the red states by millions in some, hundred thousand in others and they are meaningless.

270 are the only important things.

again repeat after me

NO OBAMA VOTER HAS SWITCHED SIDES.

fuck the bravado macho bullshit.
real men don't give a shit about that
faux men are republicanlibertarianteaparty

and all women are voting for Obama in record number.

again fuck the bravado macho bullshit.

the take down is the win 11/7/2012 when then we can proverbially spit in the awipes faces and laugh at the pathetic asses.
