A lovely gentleman from Vermont called last night

He's a senior citizen supporting Bernie. He suggested several places where my family could phone bank close by in the L.A. area. I thanked him for the call and for the work he's doing and he said what a lift it gave him to talk to people feelin' the Bern. Said it seems "contagious." He's right!

1. I met a terrific young black female college student who supports Sanders

I (retired senior citizen) went to my local cineplex to see the morning showing of the newest Coen brothers movie. No one was waiting at the ticket booth behind me, so after paying I smiled at the woman who'd just sold me the ticket and told her, "I'm saying this to everyone I meet - I hope you will seriously consider voting for Senator Bernie Sanders in the primary." Her face lit up and she said, "Absolutely! I am." I gave her the latest polling numbers from Nevada: Bernie being 23 points behind at the end of December and now being tied 50-50. She's a government affairs major at a local college and she's so excited about this election. We talked Hillary & millions in corporate/banking/Wall Street speaking fees. As I walked away, she said, "Thank you - you've made my day."

Did I mention the demographics here? Her - Young. Black. Female. Voting for Bernie.
Me - Old. White. Female. Voting for Bernie.
