Skimming the Headlines in GC: Primary, One Thing Is Clear....

The GOP is absolutely desperate. Their most popular candidate is an obnoxious failed businessman whose hair looks like roadkill. Their candidates (all of them) suffer from foot in mouth disease. Their charisma level is zero. Their ideas are like something off the bathroom wall at Drudge. They have absolutely nothing going for them, there is nothing for the RNC to work with in the general----

And so, they think that their only chance of success lies in interfering with the Democratic Primary, never realizing that Democratic Underground is their Tar Baby.

First of all, republicans are as grimly enthused and energized as democrats were in 2008. Even more, actually. In 2008, 8 years of bushco and an inspirational candidate drove dem voter turnout. Hillary inspires not nearly enough voters. Republicans this year are doubly moivated; driven not only by 8 years of Obama, but hate of all things Clinton. In both Iowa and New Hampshire, republican turnout was substantially greater than dem turnout.
