You may remember this imbecile from his previous asinine claim that No Smoking signs are just like Hitler's Germany:
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Listen to the U.S. Senate debate in West Virginia, and you might think the late Sen. Edward Kennedy is still alive.
During a Tuesday night discussion about reforming Medicaid and health care, Republican candidate John Raese described the American system as the world's greatest -- and he described Kennedy in the present tense.
"When Ted Kennedy gets sick, he doesn't go to Europe, does he?" Raese asked a crowd of about 200 at Shepherd University. "He doesn't go to France and he doesn't go to Nova Scotia. He goes to this country."
But the legendary Massachusetts Democrat died of cancer in 2009.

(35,340 posts)has much chance of beating Joe Manchin though. Then again the about the only difference between him and Raese is Manchin calls himself a Democrat.

So Raese might as well say all the crazy things he wants.

The W.Va. GOP always goes with this guy (This is his fifth unsuccessful run for statewide office) because he has a huge fortune to spend, but he's become less competitive each time.
Who woulda thunk that an arrogant, out-of-state Ayn Rander who publicly supports repealing the minimum wage wouldn't be a hit with voters?
