2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary's Bernie Bashing 'one issue' ad is awful but Hilarious
Just clunky and... insincere in that special way she has. Her ad team is so inferior to Bernie's.
Here's the ad and some biting commentary.

(11,991 posts)Certainly, there have been no Bernie ads that have been full of Hillary clips. I think this may be the first ad of the campaign that is focussed more on knocking the other candidate down than building your own candidacy up.
I guess it's concrete evidence that Hillary is actually feeling seriously threatened. So I see this ad as good news for Bernie supporters.

Bernie Sanders
On the Issues
The American people must make a fundamental decision. Do we continue the 40-year decline of our middle class and the growing gap between the very rich and everyone else, or do we fight for a progressive economic agenda that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment and provides health care for all? Are we prepared to take on the enormous economic and political power of the billionaire class, or do we continue to slide into economic and political oligarchy?
These are the most important questions of our time, and how we answer them will determine the future of our country.

People aren't stupid despite what Hillary and her minions think.

(1,894 posts)It's obviously chopped up, and it keeps reminding people of Bernie's stance on Wall Street.

(3,937 posts)Sanders brings it up in debates because it shows the contrast between them.
Team Clinton can't make it go away so they are trying to neutralize it, but meanwhile....

So sad when you compare this to Bernie's ads. His are so positive and give people the hope of a better life and a country where people work together to make that better life.
Hillary's is nothing but the same old hostile crap we've been seeing for decades now. Who is going to like this ad? Who is going to respond to this in a positive way? It's just hostile negativity, a classic attack ad that is clearly dishonest because of all the chopped up soundbites. Editing it like that is horrendous, no flow, it's just so bad all around.
No wonder she had to disable the youtube likes/dislikes. Who would "like" this?
