The most effective type of "attack" that can be leveled in the GE - one most people cannot defend.

When hard facts, not labels or distortions, are used to attack the nominee the Democratic Party is going to have a real problem on their hands - especially when those facts go to the heart of what so many Americans are disgusted with.

Some of you are experts at defending anything. I'm am continuously amazed by your talent.

However, most people just aren't wired that way.

Note that hard facts are not the same as you get your expert and I'll get mine to attack or support a plan.

To sum it up Clinton as the nominee is going to be a real problem b/c:

1. The types of attacks that can be leveled at her:
a. Here's the facts, you decide.
b. The attacks go to the heart of what most of Americans are upset about.

2. The defense of those attacks.
a. In being too creative you can insult the intelligence of the voters. (Plus, once people start to disbelieve what you are saying....)
b. Will average voters be able to defend those attacks? For example, will they be able to defend against those "attacks" without feeling like their own integrity will be called into question?
c. The risk that they will be turned off of voting for the Democratic nominee or agree to vote for the opposing party.

My daughter and grandkids have all stated flat out that the Clinton campaign has gone too far with insulting their intelligence.

I don't think she stands a chance in hell of winning them over.
