2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumSeriously, where is the talking points generator?
Putting aside that the "Now's your CHANCE for revolution, Bernie! Prove it!" is a pretty sloppy, lazy poorly thought out meme...
The question is: Where is this being generated from? There are far too many of the same posts today for this to be an accident.
Is this coming from the Hillary Campaign?

(2,975 posts)What's the Weathervane Chorus' hymn for the day?
"Sanders has been in office for decades, where is the revolution?"
or
"Hey Berniebros! Now is your chance to prove that the revolution is real! Get the SCOTUS nominee appointed or you're fake!"

Yup- I sure agree with your point! That's just a debating tactic, not a valid point.

(9,086 posts)I've been saying
1) We have one president at a time. Right now that's Obama.
2) ALL OF US should be uniting behind the president on this issue while he takes the lead.
3) Hillary and Bernie will be supportive of Obama's nominee, and so should we all.
4) First task of the political revolution ought to be to GOTV for Bernie Sanders because that's going to determine the next president.

(9,086 posts)Bernie can take a political hit from it. It can actually hurt us. That's why they're doing it. They know what they're doing.
It's bullshit but sounds like a legitimate challenge.
We have one president at a time. We're following President Obama's lead and Bernie wants to vote for the President's nominee.
nah fuck it.

(29,257 posts)How on earth can a single Senator from Vermont wield any kind of national influence so as to lead to a sea change in the nation's consciousness?
How on earth could a candidate for POTUS exert any influence on the Republicans who plan on blocking a SCOTUS appointee when even the President can't?
No one from our side ever suggested that Bernie can do things that Hillary can't. At most, when asked "How will Bernie get it done?, we point out that that is the same question facing Hillary or any other candidate.

If anyone is that compulsive, it would be interesting to note and catalog the daily talking points. Surely there's an eventual limit before they start repeating themselves. Then we can determine the pattern.
