Younger Voters

Would Bernie bring in more young voters if he were the nominee?

And subsequently, would voter turnout drop if Hillary were the nominee due to younger voters not showing up?

If the answers are YES and YES then isn't it likely Bernie will do better in the general election than Hillary?

And even older voters will stay away if Hillary is the nominee.

2. He hasn't brought in more young voters in either of the primaries that have already happened.

Attendance at both was down, and the young didn't come out.

Now what?

9. And yet, as I said, the youth didn't show up at either of the primaries we have already had.

So there is no reason to think they will show up at future primaries.

And turn many independents either to the couch or Trump. I'd say we'd have a major disaster up and down ticket.

many of the disenfranchised that so often stay home.

Of course he'll do better in the GE. Republicans might make hay with the "socialist" label, but they don't hate him the way they hate Clinton; a nomination of Clinton will bring the bedbugs out of mattresses all across the land to defeat her.

13. He hasn't so far. The young voters numbers have been similar to previous years.

So no to your first point, and there is no evidence for your second one.
