The Death of Scalia Makes It Absolutely Crucial That the Dems Nominate Clinton/Castro!

Because if the GOP thinks that it can trick us into dumping Clinton in favor of someone who will be easier to beat in the fall, 1) the Senate will refuse to allow Obama to choose a replacement justice and 2) the GOP will suddenly begin raking in tons of money from special interests who needed Scalia to protect their business interests.

On the other hand, if Clinton is the nominee, then Democratic victory will be inevitable---at which point, it will do the Senate no good to stall on the Obama nominee and the GOP will not be able to offer its Citizens United billionaire donors jack shit for their money.

The writing is on the wall. Why would anyone want to throw out a proven Democrat, a defender of women, children and the oppressed, a hard worker with the spine and experience to stand up to the GOP Congress for a long shot???

Get real, folks. Get it together. Vote Clinton/Castro!

Hillary somehow ... slither into the nomination. Her nomination will boost Republican voter participation ABSOLUTELY THROUGH THE ROOF as people come out in droves to... VOTE AGAINST HER!

Bernie WILL WIN The General ... going away! People are DEMANDING BIG CHANGE that has a perceived GREATER probability of actually enhancing THEIR life! Hillary is a KNOWN quantity and regarded by the larger public as a representative of the STATUS QUO and most assuredly NOT change...

to see any polls in the past few months.

To bring you up to speed, the current ones all show Bernie doing better, in some cases much better, in the general election against any possible Republican.

And if some people think that the epithet "Socialist" would doom Bernie Sanders, just think what a VP choice named "Castro" would do to a Hillary campaign.

First of all it will be easier for Bernie Sanders to beat any republican than for Clinton.

Secondly, having Clinton as an opponent will result in tons of donations from Americans who hate the Clintons.

No more business as usual. Clinton is same old same old.

but I really fail to see how someone with a 50%+ "unfavorable" rating (and net favorability of -8, along with a rating of "untrustworthy" hovering around 60% in national polling) is the most electable candidate, or an "inevitable" winner. Repeating something over and over doesn't make it true. I remember Hillary being inevitable before. That didn't turn out very well. And she doesn't seem to've learned from the experience.

believe she can win a general election. She is a lackluster candidate who changes position so much that it's difficult to even know what she stands for - her platform seems to be driven more by polls and focus groups than what is inside her. In my opinion she lacks leadership because you can see even now how her campaign is imploding, and you can also see from 08 how Clinton played favorites, allowed her people to form factions and then did nothing when they fought each other to her detriment.

In addition, Clinton's favorability ratings range from mostly negative with independent voters to teeth gnashing hatred with Republicans.

Again, I do not believe Clinton can win the general.

The Republicans and The Tea Party HATE Bill Clinton.

The Republicans and The Tea Party DESPISE Hillary Clinton.

This country is sick of the Bush family.

This country is sick of the Clinton family.

This country is sick of the wealthy controlling, the media, the government,

the economy, and the justice system.

This country is sick of white collar criminals getting fined, with no criminal

record, instead of being jailed.

Hillary has tried to co-opt Bernie's ideas and policies.

It will not work.

She is not sincere.

She is not trustworthy.

She has very poor judgment.

This country NEEDS Bernie.
