The elites just lost their SCOTUS backstop to this election.

There is currently no possibility for a repeat of the 2000 stealing of the presidency. The 5-4 Supreme Court is gone. With a Sanders/Trump face-off becoming more and more likely, the power elites have got to be more nervous tonight.

I think the Supremes are gonna be in Gridlock City with 4 to 4 decisions.

All that "original intent" bullshit that Scalia spouted used to be called "Strict constructionism" back in the Watergate days. It's bullshit, per Marbury versus Madison as of 1803.

But then, no one is surprised that Republicans want to reverse 213 years of case law and try to invalidate judicial review. But they like judicial review when it's in their favor.
