The early engagement by Priorities USA Action which originally planned to hold its fire for the general election marks the first major infusion of super-PAC money on Clintons behalf and underscores how crucial South Carolina has become in her battle with Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
The Priorities group is rolling out the early voter campaign Friday in partnership with the League of Conservation Voters, an environmental advocacy organization, and EMILYs List, which works to elect Democratic women.
.......The burst of activity serves as an acknowledgment of the tough fight Clinton finds herself in against Sanders, who trounced her by more than 20 points in New Hampshire Tuesday. It also could provide fresh ammunition for Sanders, who has repeatedly castigated the former secretary of state for being supported by two big-money super PACs.

I hope enough people realize now, in every state, that Moneyed Interests have a DEEP stake in her winning this.
Bernie wants to end their massive profit making machine they've got going in DC at our expense.

(7,830 posts)I was thinking it was more that they're aiming for a rout in SC since her only win so far was actually a tie. They want a big win to try to show how strong she is.
But I like your conclusion better.

(4,711 posts)I don't think she can do it by attacking Bernie or we who support him. She needs to find a positive message of her own, speak to some sort of good that she wants to accomplish that is uniquely hers to do. I haven't heard anything like that out of her; and the hour groweth late.
