I'm fine with him picking the Goldwater Girl over the guy who was arrested at the University of Chicago protesting for civil rights, but he didn't have to make himself the self proclaimed gatekeeper of the civil rights movement.

Hillary was a high school kid when she was a Goldwater girl. She didn't have a political party then but liked Goldwater because he was different from most politicians in her view.

That's the same motive for much Bernie support too.
