It sort of clarifies how little the early primary events affect the actual delegate count. We'll start understanding delegate distribution only in March. It won't be until May that we'll probably have a clear delegate majority in place. It's a long, long primary campaign, for sure, and it's heavily backloaded.

But look how quickly it jumps in the weeks following Super Tuesday. By the time we get to Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina, it will be clear who has the delegates (and who doesn't).

I can't wait!
