Jackson won the caucus In vermont so people there who were white voted for him just like 20 years later they did for obama.so
much for vermont being a bunch of white racists.his run in 1988 was quite something to see.while he didn't win he finished second
in race.

I fully supported both of Jesse's runs for president. The Democratic establishment certainly didn't. But I recognized that he was bringing important issues and essential truths to the public's attention.
