When Obamacare is fully in force, will insurers

be able to exclude pregnancy, labor and delivery benefits from any policies, as they usually do now? (At least in individual policies.)

How many women make a decision to abort simply because they can't afford the thousands of dollars in medical and hospital costs?

I was trying to help a young woman choose an individual health plan, and all but the most expensive excluded benefits for pregnancy and delivery.

I had my last child 41 years ago so pregnancy and delivery aren't on my radar. I'm not being a smart ass but is this what's happening these days? If it is it's outrageous.

for individual policies. You can put in an age and see what types of policies are available.

If you look you will see that most of them exclude pregnancy and delivery costs.

But a guy can injure himself hang gliding or sky diving or whatever and there are no exclusions.
