Bernie's Mensch like response to Bill Clinton's attacks

Sen. Bernie Sanders believes Bill Clinton’s attacks on him have been inaccurate, he told ABC News today.
I
And when asked whether Clinton has hit below the belt, Sanders said, "I think so."

“Look, I know he’s going to be out there defending his wife; trust me, my wife will be out there defending me,” Sanders said.

Sanders also pointed out that he has defended Hillary Clinton “against some unfair attacks” in the past, “but I felt that President Clinton said things that were just not accurate and I hope we get" beyond that, he said.

But the Vermont independent said he will not change his tactics on stage as Thursday’s Democratic debate approaches.

“I hope we can debate the issues and how we propose to bring about the changes that America needs,” he said. “That’s the kind of debate I think American people would like to hear, not nasty.”

It's far more likely that you are digging for anything to smear him with, and this lame-ass post was the best you could do

But that doesn't mean I have to react in a like manner.

IMO, Bill Clinton is a low rent, white trash grifter who doesn't even merit a reaction from Sanders. Kind of a male Sarah Palin with a better vocabulary who generates cheap drama wherever he goes.

Its unfortunate that so many well intentioned Americans have so far failed to wake up to his schtick. But I remain optimistic that they will. Hopefully before the party makes a drastic, 1968 style mistake.

He is a World Class Front Man who is smooth enough to steal your wallet, and have you thank him afterwards.

In the World of Cons, Bill is The Front Man (or Roper) like Paul Newman in The Sting.
He doesn't get his hands dirty. His job is to inspire "trust" from the rubes, set them up, and then make it look like they simply lost their money, while splitting up the "take" in the backroom with the other players.

And while we were all harrumphing over the "unfairness" of the impeachment debacle, he was giving the store away to Wall Street and the corporations with things like repeal of Glass Steagall, media consolidation, welfare "reform", massive expansion of the prison industrial complex and a lot of other sneaky shit.

But as another famous American and good buddy of Bill's once said:

“There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”

tomorrow night.

Hillary took today off to prep and recover from the hangover. Bernie spent the day doing what Bernie does, speaking about our needs.
