as it implies Mr. Coates was some implacable foe. He was disappointed that Sanders was not willing to support reparations to blacks. The title indicates he is either simple-minded or had some amazing transformation and I don't believe either is the case. More likely after a reasoned assessment he found Sanders to be the better candidate. I would like to thank him for the endorsement.

Coates was certainly being painted as a Sanders opponent by a contingent of posters here.

My first reaction to both the BLM protest and to Mr. Coates was to feel it was unfair to attack the candidate I felt was "better" on black issues...but I came to realize it really was done as a constructive criticism for a candidate that they most likely regarded as able to absorb and reflect on their points. So mostly I sit back now and try to listen and learn.
