Who thinks the Establishment will let this victory stand?

One thing I know about rocking the boat, or shaking up the status quo, is that those who benefit from the status quo do not want that boat rocked, and they will do anything in their power to shut it down.

Sanders said it clearly tonight: they threw everything at him but the kitchen sink, and he expects that to show up pretty soon. I expect there will be things starting up that'll make the Goldwater Atam Bomb ad look like fuzzy bunnies and Disney bluebirds. There will be photoshopped pictures and staged videos and subtle underhanded references to Sanders being too old, or too Jewish, or whatever.

Be prepared for the worst, because the stakes are very, very high and the people this campaign will threaten are not used to being thwarted.

That HRC surrogate already mentioned ads with the Hammer and Sickle on it. People like O'Rielly and Limbaugh flatly call Sanders a godless commie. It is just the tip of the iceberg.

It can be beaten but no one should be innocent or naive enough to think the battle coming up is not going to be hard and fierce.

14. And don't forget FDR's close call per General Smedley Butler.

In 1933, he became involved in a controversy known as the Business Plot, when he told a congressional committee that a group of wealthy industrialists were planning a military coup to overthrow Franklin D. Roosevelt, with Butler selected to lead a march of veterans to become dictator, similar to other Fascist regimes at that time. The individuals involved all denied the existence of a plot and the media ridiculed the allegations. A final report by a special House of Representatives Committee confirmed some of Butler's testimony.

since we have to face this fight, we might as well face it for a damn good reason, and not just for more business as usual.

8. Sanders will have to fight crap that no one has dealt with before.

All I am urging is that everyone be prepared. If you hear someone badmouthing Sanders stand up and tell them the truth. Monitor the websites. Donate to the campaign.

Show, don't tell. If there is a rally, or a phone bank or whatever, invest in your own future and take a hand. And be prepared for "supporters" that'll try to lead people into bad actions. Use your heads. If something seems "hinky" trust your instincts.

The FBI investigated Martin Luther King, Jr., and tried to spread stories about him being a womanizer, not to mention a commie and an outside agitator. Mook the Mook and Bill Clinton spread rumors that Sanders was lolling around at expensive resorts taking money from lobbyists. It is/was a lie BUT they spread it anyway.

Before this is over that'll seem like weak tea.

Be prepared. Even when we win, the fight will still be going on.

Attacks from the establishment could help highlight his campaign and what it stands for. It could prove Bernie's points about them by example. We are already seeing a backlash against Hillary's surrogates including Bill as they get nasty towards Bernie and his supporters.

This is a revolution against them. They don't have any power over us. They can't stop the Bern!

7. Bernie has more confidence in ge voters than most people do.

I think this is because of how carefully he made his decision to run.

As I recall, he went to all sorts of places and listened to people, including in strongly conservative areas.

And when he became confident his message would resonate widely enough for him to win, he jumped all in.

10. America is about to learn more than they ever wanted to know about Kibbutzim

Hello. My prediction on the proverbial kitchen sink will be some form of, 'Bernie was programmed for communism as a young American abroad in Israel.' Nothing else has stuck. They are about to go full commie. It won't work. In fact, I think we'll end up with a US flavor of Kibbutzim as a result - which would be kind of awesome... as long as they are not armed to the teeth like Israel.

American abroad in Southeast Asia here. 1st post. It's a great time to be alive.
