Governor Romney, you don't seem to understand the terms tax cut or tax rate. So let me explain it to you another way. Lets say you wanted to build another brand new home and didn't want to pay for it with your tax sheltered money in the Caymans or Swiss Banks. So you go to a US bank and get a dirt cheap, government protected 4 year ARM loan. After four years you decide you want to welch on the deal. If you go to your friends on the banks board of directors and get them to keep your rate from adjusting upward as you had agreed four years ago, did you get a rate cut? If not, what would you call it?
Governor Romney, in your criticisms of my 716 billion Medicare tax savings you fail to admit that you have praised your Vice President's plan which used the exact same Medicare savings to enrich private insurance companies. At least I was using it to reduce medical costs for Medicare enrollees. How could you choose such an irresponsible person to be your running mate? And how do you keep your head from exploding?
Do you have even one fact to back up your assertion that private insurance provides a better product at a cheaper rate than Medicare? Or would you just prefer that we accept at face value whatever you say whenever you say it?
Is there a reason why you refuse and feel no obligation to provide any details about your proposed exemptions that you insist will prevent your tax cuts from ballooning the deficit? I mean, other than it would sink you faster than the Titanic.
You indicate that you worked with Democratic politicians to craft Romneycare. I was just wondering did you also have to repeatedly prove to them that your grandfather legally emigrated to the US and that your citizenship was valid and that you weren't a secret Mexican fascist? And were the Democrats in your State House holding secret meetings and swearing to undermine your tenure from Day 1?
