As a Hillary supporter, I'm LOVING tonight's result

Donald Trump is winning and is strong in every upcoming state. 4 candidates fighting to be the one to take down Trump, and the GOP voters can't decide who they want that person to be.

So Trump continues to win, gets the nomination and delivers the White House to Democrats on a silver platter.

The GOP establishment want to harness all that racist anti-Obama energy of the last 8 years and put it behind a plausible candidate.

Nope, the bigots want the bigot.

but I don't think Trump is likely to win. Given demographic trends, he'd need significant Latino support, and I just don't see Latinos voting for a guy who compared some of them to rapists, and who wants to deport many people in their community.

In the off chance that Trump gets in, I'm slightly less worried about him than about Cruz (who scares the s#!# out of me). But only slightly. They are both incredibly evil in their own way.

The candidates we should worry about would be Kasich, Bush, or perhaps Rubio (although Rubio looks like he might be imploding).

Latinos registered and to the polls in Texas to turn it blue. Now THAT would be an interesting outcome.

to turn it blue?

Interesting.

I don't think Latinos are necessarily an automatic voting block for Dems: they should not be taken for granted. But the only time in the last few decades that the GOP got the majority vote in the presidential race, was in 2004, when Bush was able to get just enough Latinos to vote for him. As long as the GOP continues to play to their rabid white racist base, they are not likely to get much support from Latinos.

Not that I am Latino, and I can't speak for them. Just my observation from the outside.

The (R)s need Ohio and they know it. Running him helps them.

JEB is still in it, although I don't think he is a serious threat now.

Cruz is a clown and his own party will stab him in the back if need be.

Rubio will never recover from the robot meme. He can't even do his stump speech anymore because they run clips of him repeating the same speech at different events (like they all do).

Trump is still winning, but the party would love to kick him out of the clown car if they can.

I see Kasich as the possible threat. I am not loving that result. Christie in 2nd would have been better for us. He is far less electable.

maybe Jeb as well but that last name is a boat anchor around his neck.

I would rank the GOP candidates from worst to least worst (more electable) as:

Trump
Cruz
Carson
Fiorina
Christie
Bush
Rubio
Kasich

I think Bernie beats any of them. Hillary might beat The bottom half, maybe.

America needs Bernie. Even a "moderate" (not completely insane) Republican like Kasich would be devastating for America, if he or she had a GOP congress to rubber-stamp the further eviscerating of the working class and poor.

This has been the most entertaining election season I've ever seen hands down. Almost got me in trouble. Funny story.
I've been helping me mum move lately. I met her at the old place this past weekend and was just absolutely giddy about the 3 white supremacist groups that formed a Trump super-pac. I was telling my mom (who's leaning Trump good god) about how awesome it is. Oh and how awesome it is that they're robocalling people and telling them to elect more educated white guys. At that moment, the cleaning lady mom hired walked in from the kitchen. Aaaaand she's black. Man if looks could kill. Not sure she believed me at first when I told her I was happy because the mask is being ripped off for all to see. But as she walked back to the kitchen, I said "there's a lot of racists in this country." She stopped and looked at me and said "yes, yes there are." "But, there's more of us," I said. That got me hug from her and a you're a good boy from mom.

I guess the moral of the story is....
That goddamned Trump damn near got me knocked out by an old black lady! Lol

Good luck in the primaries firebrand!
